Spectra Access’ Acceptable Usage Policy

This document details the rules that all Spectra Access customers must abide by in order to use the services provided by Spectra Access Networks. The rules are put into place to ensure our customers that the network we are providing is seen as business quality you expect from Spectra Access. Failure to follow these rules may at the discretion of Spectra Access result in immediate termination of your services without a refund. Use of Spectra Access services implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Within this document, the term "you" refers to any Spectra Access customer or anyone using Spectra Access services via the customer's Internet connection. The terms "Spectra Access" and "our" refer to Spectra Access Networks.

Spectra Access reserves the right to amend these rules without prior notice.

Spectra Access provides data services and data transport for you to use based upon the services you have purchased. Spectra Access exercises no control over the content of the information that passes through our systems and our networks.

You agree that you take full responsibility for any content on the Internet that you access.
You agree not to interfere or attempt to interfere with service to any user, system, network, corporation, or organization.

You agree not to send unsolicited commercial email ("UCE"), not to send bulk email ("SPAM") except to people who have explicitly requested ("Opt-In") to receive it and conforms to The CAN-SPAM Act

You agree not to hide or attempt to hide the originating source of any email sent via Spectra Access systems or services.

You agree not to circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security or authentication of any user, system, or network.

You agree not to engage in any unlawful activities as defined by whatever town, city, state, federal, or international statutes may apply.

You agree not to resell Spectra Access services without first obtaining a contract from Spectra Access which authorizes this ("ISP contract").
